Jim and Robin

I helped out my friend Nick shoot his buddy's wedding a few weeks ago. Jim and Robin were married at St. Catherine Church in Warwick and we went to Roger Williams Park to get some group and formal shots.

Kati and David were married the day before Halloween, October 30th at Glen Manor in Portsmouth. It was my last wedding of the season and what a nice way to end the year, seeing all of my Block Island friends along with such a beautiful day and location it was such a great end to the 2010 photo season. Kati and Dave, aka Gravy, got ready at the ornate Viking hotel in downtown Newport before heading out to the Manor. The roof of the Viking made for some really interesting pics of the guys being on top of the world so to speak. Being as it was Halloween, after the ceremony during the group photos all of the guys broke out vampire teeth and the girls revealed that they were wearing green and orange black striped stockings. To finish off the night, no mere DJ or cover band showed up to entertain but rather a full swing orchestra from Boston called the Beantown Swing Orchestra. Seriously, the Benny Goodman song, "Sing, Sing, Sing" shouldn't be heard any other way. In fact here is the youtube link to get the mood of the everning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2S1I_ien6A

Anyway it was a great day and thank you to Kati and Dave for giving me such a great wedding to go out on for the year. And to everyone else whom I shot for this year thank you again, I love this work and enjoy being a part of everyones day and the continuing friendship we have afterwords.
