Neil and Melissa's Wedding at Quidnessett Country Club

Neil and Melissa got married on a beautiful day in July at Quidnessett country club. Although the day started out cloudy, the haze cleared to allow for truly amazing colors during the formal picture session. At the beginning of the day I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of meeting Melissa's father who is an avid gardener and he truly amazed me with how much work he had done to their property. We ended up by shooting the girls in his garden before we left just to get some use out of such an amazing location. The backlit ceremony made for a serious challenge in terms of balancing the light on their faces as well as exposing for the picturesque tree in the background. This would have been an ideal situation for HDR, but alas I did not have the time or preparedness. It was a great reception with the combination of a very traditional DJ who choose to stick to the classics, (Frank, Dino, etc), followed by a younger and edgier DJ who did a beautiful job blending beat to beat the more modern pop stuff. Everyone had a blast and as the final few pictures show, the garter toss especially provided plenty of entertainment. A few of my favorites are above.

Your shots are getting more amazing with every single wedding. I think this recent event is a particularly good example of your ever expanding talent for being able to capture the natural beauty of the landscape and sky, without drawing attention from the wedding party. Nice job.

Oh my god! This is stupendous. I really like when photographers capture all the moments beautifully like this. I am also going to hire this photographer for my wedding day. I still have to finalize the event space though. But, after that I am going to contact this photographer as soon as possible.
